Wedgewood
Farm is located on Route 12, just North of Route 22 in Wauconda,
Illinois. Just an hour from downtown Chicago, our facility is located
on 25 acres, in scenic Lake county. We are one of the very few stables
that has direct access to the miles of horse trails in the Lakewood
Forest Preserves. With over 30 years experience, our trainers offer
both private and semi-private lessons in both English and Western
discipline. Team roping is also offered .Our new barn was completed in 2007 and offers private boarding with all day turnout. We host a large
indoor arena (250 x 90) and our outdoor arena, with night lighting,
measures 300 x 100. Wedgewood is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

| Our new facility was just completed in 2007. We offer fully matted stalls with many cross ties for no waiting! Indoor wash rack and heated barn, allows for riding year round. Our climate controlled tack room has ample space for all tack trunks, saddles & storage. Extra wide aisles provide adequate space for horse and rider. Our club room offers extra large windows for viewing lessons in progress. Our new arena has generous space and allows for a full jumping course while still allowing ample room for riders who are riding on the flat.
Our front barn is fully equipped with its own indoor arena. This smaller arena is ideal for the beginner rider and is adjoined to its own viewing room.
We are active participants in the Hunter / Jumper show circuit. We are USEF members and currently show in the entire midwest IHJA and NIHJA circuits.
With both a large indoor arena and a large outdoor arena, we are the only barn in the area that can team rope 12 months out of the year. With our own in-house steer, we are always ready for a good roping.
